The Magnolia at the Modern is an ongoing series featuring critically acclaimed films. Regular show times are Friday at 6 and 8 pm, Saturday at 5 pm, and Sunday at noon, 2 and 4 pm (exceptions are noted). Tickets are $8.50; $6.50 for Modern members. The Sunday noon show time is half price. Advance sales begin two hours prior to each show.

Russian Films at the Modern

August 24-26

The Lone Star Film Society and the Modern have partnered with the Russian Ministry of Culture, the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, and the City of Fort Worth Mayor's Office to present a cultural exchange of some of the newest and most exciting films and filmmakers from the U.S. and Russia. In June, three U.S. films and filmmakers traveled to the Moscow International Film Festival; and in August and September, three Russian filmmakers will present their work to U.S. audiences in Fort Worth, New York, and San Francisco. The filmmakers presented in this series represent bold new voices in both American and Russian independent cinema.
