Every Thursday, the writers of the Modern Blog share a few items of interest that they've come across online. These links will generally relate to art, museums, artists, or perhaps they brought up ideas and concepts which we found worth exploring. Enjoy!
- We really enjoyed Whitehot Magazine's write-up on the recently-closed Mark Bradford retrospective at SFMOMA. Some of you may remember that it was also at the Dallas Museum of Art earlier this fall.
- Ed Ruscha gave a fantastic interview with the Huffington Post on Jack Kerouac, Social Media, and Pop Culture in the 1960's -- fitting, given his new exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in North Miami.
- MoMA posted an interesting sound clip of Richard Serra discussing his work Delineator (1974-75), which is up in their galleries.
- If you're a Cindy Sherman fan, then we found the perfect Tumblr for you. It's filled with artist interviews, videos, Sherman's photography, and much more.
